Ever wondered why you can get domain name backlinks so easily? You may not have, but most successful internet marketers understand this fact. What do they do to achieve the desired results? They join some kind of link trading program or affiliate program and spend time learning how it works. Then they join a few forums and start exchanging links with some of the visitors that show up there. Done a few of these and you'll be able to earn backlinks for your domain name almost immediately.

You'll notice I haven't mentioned any kind of traffic exchange or article marketing method. That's because it doesn't work. You can't get thousands of visitors to one specific site and then hope to get them to go to your own site. But you can get hundreds of these visitors all looking at your domain name at the same time and coming to your website at the same time. This is what happens when people are directed from a link exchange site to your own. The more people who are directed to your website, the more likely you are to get some quality backlinks that will help your site climb the search engine rankings.

So how can you get these hundreds of quality backlinks in a short amount of time? Most people fall into the hands of link farms. There are literally thousands of sites out there that will give you links without you having to do anything. These sites get you links like everyone else, but they attach them with what looks like spam to your domain name. This makes you look bad and almost unprofessional. So if you're going to be successful you have to take precautions and avoid these sites.

I know that this isn't easy. I've found that the best way to overcome this issue is to use a special software tool. These tools are specifically designed to find links to your domain name with other webmasters. But instead of finding links with another website, you want to find links within your niche. If someone is running a campaign for dog training, they're going to post under dogtraining or dog, so you should find links within that niche.

So how do you get these backlinks? Well, the first step is to head over to the big daddy of them all, Google. Go to the main menu and click on "advanced settings". On the left side you'll see the section marked "Google Webmaster Tools". Click on it and then scroll down until you see the section marked "Include subdomains" and click on the link you want to add.

You can add as many domains as you'd like, but you need to make sure you're only pointing them at the relevant pages. To do this, go to your domain name and check to see if it has a link there. If so, just click on that link to point to that page. If not you'll need to re-point it.

Once you've got all those links up and running you can start getting some traffic to your site. There are a couple ways to do this, but I recommend a combination of article marketing and forum marketing. First, you need to make sure you create good content and post it on a regular basis. The more you post the better chance you have of getting people to click on your links and actually get to your website.

Then, once you get lots of high PR backlinks in your niche, you can help out your competition. The more backlinks you have pointing to your site the more likely other webmasters are to follow those links. This will help your rankings and ultimately increase your traffic. Hopefully these Domain name backlinks ideas will help you get the most out of your backlinks.
