For some time I have been a big fan of link building, and I really enjoy getting my domain name backlinks from great websites. Unfortunately, in recent times I have seen some drop-outs from people that were not fully committed to what they were doing. They ended up going from site to site looking for backlinks, which was the wrong approach for them to take. If you have been on the web for a while and have struggled with building backlinks, I have got a secret for you.

You have to understand that in order to build quality, meaningful backlinks, you need to be building relationship with your audience, and not just pushing your website link on them. What do I mean by this? Well, you must get to know your audience before you start promoting your website. That means that you need to have a blog or a website where you can get to know your customers, and interact with them on a regular basis, for the purpose of building relationship and trust.

It is not necessary to post comments on every page of your website. You can leave a comment once in a while, but for the most part, you want to engage with your readers on a social media platform such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc. when you have new content, or when you are adding a new product. As you get to know your readers, you will notice that they like to share good content with their network, and recommend your page to their network.

So how can you get name backlinks from these sites? Well, if you have a website or a blog of your own, and you publish new content on a regular basis, then you will begin to build a network of loyal readers that are interested in your specific brand. You will be able to share your content with them, and they will share it with their network. And this is how you begin to get name backlinks!

You can also try guest blogging. This is where someone else writes an article, and then has you guest posting it on your site. You take the article that they publish and rewrite it to suit your purposes. Include a couple of phrases throughout the piece that are similar to keywords that you are ranking for. Then you put a link back to the original post at the bottom of the page, in your author resource box. This can help you to get a decent volume of traffic through these types of methods, however you should be careful that you are not plagiarizing the material.

A more direct method to getting name backlinks is to have several articles out on the same domain. These are written by different authors, and include different keyword combinations. You simply have to make sure that the links in these posts point back to your website, so that search engines see that your content is a valid one. For example, if one of your posts is about dogs, you could put "about dogs" in the body of the article, and include a link in the last paragraph that directs to your website. Now you are creating what is known as authority.

Another effective way to get backlinks is to create content related to your niche, and then submit that content to an article directory. The author of the article can add a little bit of link to your website as well, because the directory owns the right to that piece of content. They will often allow you to include a little text that mentions your website in the author's resource box. This is also another method to increase your domain name backlinks quickly.

One last way that you can get backlinks to your website quickly is to post comments on other peoples blogs or websites. This is done by leaving a comment on someone else's blog that is relevant to the topic. In the comment you include a link to your website. Just be sure to leave a comment with a URL to your website so that readers can easily visit it when they want.
